HOW TO MULTIPLY YOUR PASSION
There are things in this world we are good at. But there are also things in this world that we are good at that we LOVE doing!
We can do these things for free in our daily lives, through charitable contributions but as passionpreneurs, we want to maximize our passions in our business so we can create a dream life
for ourselves AND make an impact.
But we also have to be realistic and know our boundaries. Regardless of how much we love doing something, we only have a certain amount of time and energy a day. I can love creating business strategy more than anything, but if I am doing it for 14 hours a day, 6 days a week and I am not being financially rewarded for it AND my financial life is crumbling around me, no amount of love for what I do is going to keep the feeling of fun and passion alight inside, I am going to feel exhausted and stressed.
On the flip side, I could be earning amazing money to live a really extraordinary life but my desire to keep on achieving, getting more and working long hours to do this will be stopping me from enjoying the present moment and knowing what really makes me happy.
How many times have you heard people say ‘I’ve just lost the passion I once had’? It isn’t so much that they have lost the love of what they do, but the circumstances have placed so much pressure on them that they have suffocated the passion and it no longer exists.
So the key to keeping passion in your business life is about setting up your business and life in the way I teach you here. So let’s start!

- Knowing what you want in life so you are working to ‘magnet soul goals’
- Do the majority of your work in the strengths and skills you love that add the most value to
your clients lives
MAGNET SOUL GOALS

But why? What does this do for YOU? How does this impact YOUR life?
It’s obvious that you would be able to up-level most of your experiences and living conditions but have you ever thought about the COST of creating this business working the way you do now OR
whether you actually really NEED this much money? Maybe it’s not enough to do the things you want too? Is this what YOU really want?
Goals without soul and reality based outcomes are like genie wishes... They are so based alongside fairytales in your mind that there’s no desire to achieve them.
When I work with clients, this is the first place we start... Knowing what the REAL desired outcome is and then creating a plan to achieve this first.
When we set goals, we chose things that we think will bring us a certain feeling. It’s the FEELING that we are trying to achieve, not the ‘thing’. That’s why you can really want something and work so hard to achieve it, but once you have it you’re not satisfied for very long, as the feeling was
fleeting. So now you need something else, a new goal, to bring back that feeling.
This way of setting goals is so back to front. Firstly, you should figure out how you want to feel in life and then set goals which align with these feelings... I call them ‘magnet soul goals’.
Sometimes the goals you're currently aiming for don’t match the feelings you really want which is why you will sabotage your achievements over and over again and not understand why.
SETTING MAGNET SOUL GOALS
DEEP DIVE INTO HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL ON A DAILY BASIS
Here are some questions to ask for each of the following areas of your life (as a starting point) & some sentences to finish to explore your soul’s wants and desires
QUESTIONS TO ASK
Create questions for each area of your life first and then go through and answer them. I have a large questionnaire I use that is pages long so don’t stop at a few questions. The more you explore the more you will discover about your real desires.
Here are some ideas. Use these to rephrase for all of the different areas and create some of your own!
- How do you want to feel every day?
- When I am with people I want to feel...
- When I am with people I want them to feel...
- I want my ____ to feel (work, business, body, home, partner, life etc.)
- The way I feel about _______ is:
- The way I want to feel about _______ is:
- I want my _______ to make me feel
- When it comes to ______ I want to feel
- When I do my most favorite things I feel
- My purpose is to spread...
- Part 1 - When I envision my perfect life I imagine...
- Part 2 - This makes me feel...
Once you have created your questions, sit in a quiet space and just center yourself and write.
Don’t worry about grammar or spelling. Don’t judge, don’t edit. Let your soul speak and be a
vehicle for it to express itself.
CHOOSE YOUR SOULS WORDS TO LIVE BY
Once you have finished, go through all of your answers and highlight or write on a separate sheet all the words that create a positive emotion to you when you read or say them out loud... more than the other words. There will be words you have used over and over again... that’s a
Once you have your shortlist, go through them and choose 3 that you think are the most
aligned to how you want to feel in life and these become your soul’s magnet words that you will test all of your goals against.
It may take you a day, a week to sit with these words and get them right. And they are not
forever... they are for now and for the creation of your future but in the future you may do it
again. Maybe it’s your ‘New Year’s Resolution’ replacement, to do this exercise and create your
goals for the year based on your words for that year. There’s no rule... your soul will guide you.
Write your 3 words down.
BRAINSTORM YOUR SOULS MAGNET GOALS
This is the super fun bit! Now you have your words, it’s time to start creating the life of your
On a sheet of paper create 3 columns (you may need a few sheets) and write your 3 words, one at the top of each column.
Then every third or half of the page, write an area of your life: Business, Relationships,
Experiences, Health/Physical etc., Growth (areas that mean something to you)
Now start writing down ‘goals’ for this area of your life that will CREATE the feeling in your
Just like the previous exercise, just write and brainstorm. You don’t have to do them all, they
are just ideas. Write as many as you can... get it all out!
Now you have these, it’s a matter of choosing the ones that will make THE MOST impact in your life and create a plan to achieve them. When you are choosing them, also think about the journey of achieving the goal... if the journey doesn’t also align with the feeling, it’s a big red flag that it’s not the right goal and you will struggle to achieve it.
Seriously, this is magic in the making.

YOUR PROFITABLE STRENGTHS YOU LOVE
Now I am not saying that you can spend your entire entrepreneurial journey only doing things you love... there are things you will have to do, especially in the growth stage, which you don’t like.
BUT it’s important to understand where your genius lies, so you can grow your business in the direction of your strengths instead of in the area of things you don’t enjoy.
There is a very important distinction to make that the majority of people miss.
- There are things you are good at, your strengths... but it doesn’t necessarily mean you enjoy doing them.
- There are things you are good at AND YOU LOVE DOING... but this doesn’t necessarily mean a profitable business as it may not help many people.
- There are things you are good at AND YOU LOVE DOING AND ARE HIGHLY VALUABLE TO YOUR CLIENTS... THIS is the magic spot where your profit, passion and praise will soar.
FINDING YOUR OWN PROFITABLE STRENGTHS
This was an exercise in one of Frank Kern’s programs. I have used this so much and whilst it’s super simple, it’s genius at uncovering your most valuable strengths that you should use to grow your business.
When I did this exercise, I was trying to grow my health coach business, yet all of my answers were in business and marketing... surely a sign I was trying to create the WRONG BUSINESS FOR ME???... sadly I kept going but now I understand what this tool really shows, I could never make this mistake again AND I used it to create my current business and every time I create a product.
Another sheet of paper, 4 columns this time.
Mark the columns as follows:
- Column 1 - Things I can do
- Column 2 - Skill Level
- Column 3 - Enjoyment Factor
- Column 4 - Value to Marketplace
Now just write in Column 1 all of the things you can do (within your business and outside of
After you’ve purged all the things you can do you are going to go down each column and score
Go down column 2, ‘Skill Level’, and number from 1 - 5 what your skill level is for each thing you can do.
1 being ‘Beginner’ & 5 being ‘Advanced / Master’
Now it's time to rate how much you enjoy doing these skills that you are good at.
Only rate the skills you had a '3' or above for in the 'Skill Level' column.
So rate from 1 - 5 how much you ‘Enjoy’ doing each activity.
1 being ‘can’t stand it’ & 5 being ‘absolutely love doing it’
Now go down column 4 ‘Solves Core Problem’ and number from 1 - 5 if this skill / activity SOLVES a CORE PROBLEM in a marketplace.
Only score the skills that had a ‘3’ or above in the 'Enjoyment Factor' column.
1 being ‘No it doesn’t ’ & 5 being ‘Absolutely it is a huge challenge for a lot of people’
How we define ‘core problem’:
A core problem is a major problem someone is feeling and has a lot of pain around solving it. This means in health it might be ‘mindset for weight loss’ or ‘weight loss when you have a thyroid problem’.
We are not getting into targeting or messaging yet but you need to know that there is a demand for this skill / strength / service.
‘General Knowledge’ means just from what you know about it in a general sense. If you decide to go ahead, it will need validation. This is not a Validation exercise, it is to uncover your zone of magic.
You will hopefully have at least 1 skill that has a 3 or above in the 'Value to Marketplace' column. These will become your Passionpreneur Zone of Magic.
You may have a few. If these skills fall within your current business then the key is to grow your business in the direction of these skills. This will mean you will have an ease and flow and copious amounts of passion, praise and if you set up your business as I lay out later... Profits as well!
If they don't quite fit in together, then you need to decide which one will be the best one to use. This can be the one with the highest scores overall, the one with the highest value to the marketplace or the one that you enjoy more.
Before you make any BIG changes, make sure you validate your new idea. This could be surveying and speaking to you current list and clients/customers or running a validation campaign in a new market.
MAXIMIZING YOUR PASSION
I think you can see that if you just create goals that align with what you REALLY WANT to FEEL in life AND you create a business around your P3 Strengths, your passion factor will light up and stay strong.
Along the way there are some other things to focus on so you don’t end up burnt out, regardless of how much you love what you do.
CREATE A DREAM TEAM
Create a team of people who are aligned with your mission, love what THEY do and take all of the tasks you don’t like doing and serve no value to your time, off your list.
Depending on your business structure, this can be outsourcing to regular freelancers, hiring staff, hiring a remote team from around the world OR a combination of it all!
When I work with my clients in my Profitable Passionpreneur program, we create a ‘Zone of Magic’ tool and an ‘Eliminate or Delegate’ tool so they know EXACTLY how, when, what and to whom they can delegate tasks that are essential to the business, but not for them to do.
REJUVENATION IS THE KEY TO PASSION
We live in a workaholic society where we think the more time we spend working and the more struggle we have, equals the most success. But that’s completely wrong. If you are really giving and engaging and working at your highest energy level, you need regular recharging.
You need to schedule days off and time off during the day. I mean completely off and do things that recharge YOU. I am an introvert so spending time with people drains more of my energy, so I need quiet time. Meditation, Yoga, Reading are all things on my Bliss List. Your idea of recharging might be big social gatherings, exercise, adrenaline filled activities... there’s no right or wrong, know what you need and do them, REGULARLY!
